Harlee Castro Balajadia is a dedicated arts administrator with a proven track record of leadership and management in various esteemed organizations. His expertise spans across coordinating large-scale events, managing ensembles, and overseeing community programs, reflecting his commitment to fostering artistic excellence and accessibility.

Currently, Harlee Balajadia serves as the Chaperone Coordinator for the California Choral Directors Association (CCDA) at CASMEC 2025, where he ensures the smooth operation and safety of participants. His involvement with CCDA also includes roles as the Ensemble Manager for the All State Jr. High SATB Ensemble at CASMEC 2024 and as a chaperone for the same ensemble in 2022.

At Charles Evans Hughes Middle School in the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD), Harlee Balajadia holds the position of Director of Choral / Vocal / Music Appreciation Activites, a role he has excelled in since 2020. He leads the choral, vocal, and music appreciation programs, contributing to the development of young musicians and enhancing the school's music department.

Harlee also plays pivotal roles in several other musical and community organizations. As the Gig Lead for The Candlelight Carolers, he coordinates performances and engagements, ensuring high-quality experiences for audiences and performers alike. At the Vocal Jazz Academy, he manages operations and registration, facilitating the smooth running of the academy’s programs.

In his capacity as the LB Program Director and Manager for Voices for Social Justice, Harlee Balajadia directs programs that use music as a vehicle for promoting social equity and community engagement. Additionally, he manages community relations for The Filharmonic Entertainment and oversees social media for Choral Audacity, enhancing the visibility and outreach of these ensembles.

From 2018 to 2023, Harlee served as the Section Leader and Director On Call at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Long Beach, where he provided musical direction and leadership. His experience in both educational and professional settings demonstrates his ability to lead and inspire while effectively managing the administrative and operational aspects of arts organizations.
